The Wellspring Surgery is a forward thinking, modern partnership practice, working closely with a variety of other services within the community.
In July 2004 the surgery moved into the newly built multipurpose Wellspring Healthy Living Centre after many years as Corbett House Surgery at the corner of Avonvale Road and Beam Street. To recognize this change, in June 2006 we were renamed The Wellspring Surgery.
Our aim, at Wellspring Surgery, is to work towards improving the health of local residents by providing quality healthcare designed around the needs of our patients.
The doctor’s surgery at WHLC is home to 6 NHS GPs and 3 practice nurses. The surgery is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm (closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm). Health visitors, school nurses and midwives are also based here and can be contacted through the clinic reception.
