Rethink Carers Service is for anyone who is supporting or who has concerns about a persons mental wellbeing, whether family member or friend. We offer anything from a chat over the phone to one-to-one meetings in which the impact of caring can be explored in a personalised way. Exhibitions
The Arts team organises regular exhibitions at the WHLC. These are often related to health or the artists have used art as a means of helping them recover from illness. Any artist who wishes to exhibit their work at the WHLC should contact the Arts project.
Events
The WHLC hosts several regular and one-off events throughout the year, which are open to people from the local area and beyond. There has been a highly successful annual Animation Festival, a Mind, Body and Soul Fayre, a Mental Health Awareness Day and much more. If you would like to hold an event at the WHLC please contact the Centre Manager.
Creche
The WHLC has a fully equipped crèche. The crèche is bright and airy with a spongy lino floor to make it safe for children.
Room Hire
The WHLC has rooms available for hire. The rooms are suitable for fitness classes, meetings and exhibitions.
