Young people’s health project
Services for Young People
If you are a young person aged 13 to 19 years, we have a range of services and activities especially for you.
We offer 4YP which means you can get confidential support including the “C Card” from the following people based at the Wellspring
• Wellspring reception staff
• Gladys Gibbs, Youth Worker.
4YP is also available from Mark Newman and the youth work team based at the Crypt Youth Centre on Avonvale Rd.
Or for more information about 4YP visit www.4ypbristol.co.uk
* Young Peoples appointments are also available Monday to Friday at 4:30 p.m. with the Wellspring nurses. You do not need to be registered at the Wellspring. If you want to see a nurse for any personal reasons including contraceptive advice, contact Wellspring reception directly on 0117 9557474 and ask for a Young People's Appointment
* Counselling
Frankie from “Off the Record” provides friendly and confidential counselling. You can explore any issues which concern you and which may take a little time to sort out.
* Support to manage Drugs and Alcohol
A dedicated “young people friendly worker” is available to help young people manage issues with drugs and alcohol. If you are worried about yours or someone else's drugs and alcohol use, give us a call and we can chat it through with you and get you to help you require.
Call the youth work team on 0117 3041400 and we will help you find the right service for you!
